Areas of Ministry
Children's Ministry
Our Sunday school ministry, is a fun and engaging time for young children to learn about God. The children hear the gospel each week as they sing songs, play games, hear stories and read Scripture.
Midweek Studies
At CVCC, we take seriously God’s command to never neglect meeting together to exhort, encourage, rebuke, uplift one another, and enjoy learning with one another.
Evangelism/Outreach
Intentional (sometimes sporadic) time that is set aside to spread the good news of Christ in our local Clarence Valley region. Examples of this include park ministry, handing out Bibles & Tracts, street evangelism, and going door-to-door.
Community Kitchen
Where: Maclean CWA Hall (40 River Street, Maclean NSW 2463).
When: Dinner served at 6pm every Monday night.
The Maclean Community kitchen has been set up after the devastating impacts of fire, flood and covid to help people in the community around a gathering for a meal. Those who attend are not always in need of a meal, but also attend to foster and harbour community spirit and bring a sense of helpfulness. It is run primarily by the Clarence Valley Community Church in conjunction with the Maclean Presbyterian Church. Volunteers and donations are always welcome to assist in the running of the kitchen.
